Who are we?

Hyllan Preschool is located in Sandtorp and offers inspiring environments that invite play, learning, and exploration – both indoors and outdoors. Hyllan Preschool forms a joint unit together with Borgen Preschool. At Hyllan, there are three departments with approximately 57 children and around 12 employees, including preschool teachers, childcare workers, and a cook.

A special educator is also linked to the unit who, when needed, mentors and supports the educators in their work with children requiring special support.

At Hyllan Preschool, we work to give the children the prerequisites to think, learn, and communicate in different contexts. Together, we lay the foundation for a lifelong desire to learn. The teaching is based on both planned activities and the spontaneous learning situations that arise in everyday life, as we see children's development and learning as something that happens all the time.

With us, children have the opportunity to develop a positive image of themselves as learning, creative, and competent individuals.

Your responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you are responsible for the education and teaching in the preschool. Together with the work team, you plan, implement, follow up, and document the pedagogical work based on the preschool's governing documents, scientific basis, and proven experience.

You are responsible for leading the goal-directed processes in teaching and ensuring that care, development, and learning form a whole for the children. In this role, you are an important part of the work team and actively contribute to the development of the operations.

You lead and support your colleagues in their daily work and contribute to a positive, learning, and inclusive work environment. We continuously work with participation and influence, and you work to strengthen our common "we-feeling" and contribute to good collaboration among colleagues.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are an engaged and secure preschool teacher with a preschool teacher degree and license, who wants to contribute to a developing, creative, and educational environment for both children and colleagues. You have experience in pedagogical work in preschool and are accustomed to taking responsibility and leading colleagues in daily work.

As a person, you are relationship-building and have an easy time building trusting and positive relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You communicate clearly and adapt your way of expressing yourself to the recipient and situation. You maintain calm, structure, and focus even during periods of high tempo or changed conditions.

You are a present and coaching colleague who supports and inspires others to grow and reach their full potential. Through your engagement and professionalism, you contribute to a positive work climate where collaboration, development, and the best interests of the children are always at the center. Furthermore, you dare to think new thoughts, see opportunities in challenges, and contribute creative ideas that develop the operations forward.

You have good knowledge of the preschool's governing documents and the revisions in the curriculum that came into effect last year. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
