Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We pay out approximately 260 billion SEK annually. These are everyone's tax money we are responsible for. This is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we delve into every case, follow laws and regulations, inform and guide, care, and show consideration. This is a job for you who want to take responsibility. Welcome to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

In February, the government decided on state support for increased accessibility to dental care. The Swedish Social Insurance Agency has been tasked with handling applications and payments for municipal-type support. We are now looking for insurance case officers for Malmö who enjoy change and want to contribute with collaboration, drive, and a solution-focused approach.

Case handling, customer contact, and teamwork

As an insurance case officer, you have an important mission: to help citizens so that the right person receives the right benefit at the right time. You provide individuals with the conditions to have an overview and feel secure in all contacts with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Every individual has a unique situation that needs to be met based on their specific needs. You have contact via phone and in writing.

When working with dental care, you encounter both healthcare providers, i.e., dentists or other dental staff who have applied for reimbursement for patient visits, and private individuals. You handle cases independently where reimbursement cannot be paid out automatically. You investigate whether the conditions for reimbursement are met based on current regulations, make assessments, and make decisions in individual cases.

We work in a team-based manner with planning and distribution of tasks, which means there are requirements for you to take responsibility and contribute to the group's work. The inflow and type of cases vary, so it is important that you have the ability to switch between different tasks and work pace. Your duties also include recurring work in scheduled telephony and the release of public documents.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who are to work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

This is a job for you who want to take responsibility.

We are looking for you who

  • have a final grade from upper secondary school or experiences and qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
  • are service-oriented
  • have a systematic and careful working method
  • are stable and can maintain energy even in demanding situations
  • have good communication skills
  • collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • are computer literate.

It is an advantage if you

  • have worked with investigations and made decisions affecting individuals, preferably at a public authority.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
