We are looking for more dedicated nursing assistants with good knowledge of cognitive impairment/dementia at Grågåsvägen 13 in Stångby

This autumn, we are opening our fifth and final ward – join us from the start.

We offer nursing assistants permanent full-time positions. The working hours are scheduled for weekdays and evenings, with duty every other weekend. For scheduled work, we have a favorable full-time equivalent of 36 hours and 20 minutes per week.

Grågåsvägen 13 is Lund Municipality's newest nursing home, featuring modern facilities and a fantastic outdoor and indoor environment. For us, it is important to work in teams, and together we make the biggest difference. We have a structured approach where the multidisciplinary team meets once a week to review the care and support we provide to those we serve. Team-based work and person-centered care for each individual are the foundation of our work. We also prioritize the staff's working environment and actively work with training, action plans, and risk assessments.

This autumn, Grågåsvägen 13 will have five wards, four of which focus on cognitive impairment/dementia and one on somatic care.

The residence is located about a 5-minute walk from Stångby's bus and train station, and there are good parking facilities in the area.

About the role and your tasks

As a nursing assistant, you are part of the multidisciplinary team. You contribute your specialist knowledge within your professional competence. Through close collaboration with the manager, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other team members, you help provide residents with a meaningful life where individual needs are at the center.

The work involves nursing care based on the resident's wishes and needs, as well as delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). As a nursing assistant, you will work using the digital system Epsilon, create implementation plans, document in Lifecare, evaluate, and contribute to maintaining high quality in operations. We monitor quality in national registers such as the BPSD register, SveDem, and Senior Alert. The role may also involve being a contact person and holding specific areas of responsibility.

An important part of the work is team-based care for the resident to achieve a good holistic view. We work based on the national values for elderly care, where the key words are self-determination, participation, and individual adaptation. Your goal is always to make daily life meaningful for the residents.
