About the Role

As an AML Officer, you will become a key member of the Financial Crime Prevention team, responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring effective AML/CFT processes and controls. The role combines strategic and operational work, where you collaborate closely with the business to ensure high quality, strong internal control, and compliance with current regulations.

In this role, you will interpret and implement new regulatory requirements and further develop internal policies, procedures, and guidelines within AML/CFT. You will conduct risk assessments, handle complex AML cases, and work with EDD, transaction monitoring, and customer risk assessments for both individuals and corporate clients.

You will also contribute to developing and optimizing AML processes through quality controls, follow-ups, and improvement initiatives, including KPI/KRI reporting and automation. The role involves close collaboration with internal functions, external partners, and authorities, as well as participation in internal audits, reviews, and training initiatives within AML and financial crime prevention.

We are looking for someone who

• Has an academic degree in law, economics, finance, or a related field.
• Has several years of experience in AML/CFT, compliance, risk, or financial crime prevention within banking or fintech.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and international AML regulations.
• Is analytical, structured, and has a strong risk and control mindset.
• Has experience interpreting and translating regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English.
• Certifications such as CAMS or ICA are considered an advantage.
