Competence Development Institute Vocational College is now looking for a teacher/trainer for the program Specialist Assistant Nurse in Elderly Care. Together with the rest of the team, you will drive and develop the education forward. This work includes, among other things, planning and designing courses, teaching, and supervising students.

Who are we looking for?

To thrive in this role, you must have a humble approach and a positive view of people, finding joy in helping our students develop and establish themselves in the industry. Good pedagogical skills, along with an interest in people and the industry, are essential. We are now looking for an engaged and structured team player with the ability to communicate clearly.

Work experience/background

• Pedagogical education – or something else that the employer deems equivalent
• Registered Nurse or degree as Specialist Assistant Nurse with a focus on elderly care, or something else that the employer deems equivalent
• Current, long-term professional experience within elderly care
• Experience with distance teaching
• You have very good IT skills and can quickly get up to speed with different systems
• You have very good knowledge of digital tools and the most common Office programs
• Experience in course development

Personal qualities

It is an advantage if you appreciate a varied and stimulating job and have a strong creative side. You have a sense of order and can collaborate with others while working independently and making priorities. You have a good attitude and good service awareness. You are quick and efficient, solution-focused, and results-oriented.

Employment type

The position is a permanent employment with a mandatory 6-month probationary period. Travel is included in the job, approx. 1–2 times/month – overnight stays occur. The travel is linked to teaching taking place in other locations as well as meetings within the organization.
