Here, you will have a varied and meaningful workday in a cross-professional team working closely together to create safe and patient-centered care for our patients.

Adult Psychiatry Clinic 2, located on Drottninggatan in central Helsingborg, serves individuals with needs within general psychiatry. The department currently consists of four subspecialized teams: the FACT team, the ADHD team, the DBT team, as well as centralized occupational therapists and physiotherapists.

We are in an exciting phase of development where we are now launching our DBT team. In connection with this, we are expanding our operations and seeking a medical secretary who will work specifically with both the DBT and ADHD teams.

The ADHD team works with patients with a confirmed ADHD diagnosis who are in need of medical treatment and psychoeducation. The team meets patients from all over northwest Scania and consists of psychiatrists, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. The DBT team is under construction and will offer structured treatment to patients according to dialectical behavior therapy. Here, you have a unique opportunity to be involved from the start and contribute to the development of the team and its working methods.

DUTIES

As a medical secretary, you work in close collaboration with doctors, other healthcare staff, and your medical secretary colleagues. You will become part of a great team that helps and supports each other. Your work consists largely of organizing and structuring the administrative work at the clinic. You are also a great support to your colleagues.

In the team, you collaborate with different categories of staff and actively contribute to the improvement of routines, working methods, and the development of the unit. Duties include administration in Melior, scheduling, registrations in Pasis, as well as referral and team conference management. In the role, you also have some patient contact via telephone shifts and handling of incoming matters via 1177. Additionally, there is an opportunity for own areas of responsibility.

When you start, you will receive an introduction and shadowing adapted to your needs and prerequisites.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a completed education in Health Care Administration 80p KY/400p YH or equivalent doctor's secretary education. In addition, you have good knowledge of medical terminology and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We see it as meritorious if you have good computer skills as well as knowledge of Melior and Pasis. If you have experience within psychiatry, we also see this as meritorious.

As a person, you are meticulous and loyal, work service-oriented, and have a flexible approach where you can quickly adapt when needed. An exciting, varied, and developing work appeals to you. In addition, you have good cooperation skills and enjoy working in cross-professional teams.
