Do you have an interest in community development issues and want to join our development journey? Here you will work in an exciting administration with a broad range of activities and diverse competencies, from long-term physical planning to daily operational matters. The administration support team provides support to all operations within the administration regarding finance, HR, communication, quality, digitalization, and administration. The team has a specific assignment to contribute to cross-administration development. A total of 17 employees work on the team together with the administrative manager.

This position is physically located at Urban Environment Area, which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the public environment in Eskilstuna.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of our administrative team of approximately ten people working on different units. Together, you will drive development and ensure high quality in our case handling. You are a vital part of a larger whole. As an administrator at the Urban Environment unit, you work independently and support administrative tasks. You are the sole administrator on your unit but can, of course, seek support from your colleagues, both within the administration support team and at the Urban Environment unit.

The tasks include a wide range of administrative duties, and you will be an important support to employees and managers. You handle orders, mail processing, and serve as a key support in our personnel system, Medvind. You need to have high digital maturity, be system-savvy, and have good experience with the Office suite. The role also involves administering documents in the case handling system and being responsible for archive care. Since the tasks vary significantly, it is important that you are flexible and can handle different types of assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

Completed relevant upper secondary education + preferably post-secondary education related to the field.
Experience in broad administrative work.
Experience in information management.
Good digital maturity and system proficiency.
Good knowledge of the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act.

Additionally, experience with case systems, orders, GDPR handling, and information management is an advantage.

The Community Development Administration plays a crucial role in building a safe and sustainable society. The administration plans, projects, and builds, and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the public environment in Eskilstuna. The administration also conducts supervision and emergency services. Currently, we have a total of approximately 320 employees.
