GTI is an independent upper secondary school located in Vasastan, Gothenburg, with approximately 400 students. Founded in 1927, the school has a long tradition of education. In 2027, we will celebrate our 100th anniversary. Today, we offer four national programs: the Economics Program, the Natural Science Program, the Social Science Program, and the Technology Program.

We are a small organization where the close proximity between students and staff creates a safe and personalized study environment. At GTI, decision-making paths are short and collaboration is close-knit – we know each other and work together to develop teaching and the school.

About the position

For the autumn term 2026, we are looking for a full-time (100%) teacher in History and Swedish.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong subject knowledge and is qualified to teach at the upper secondary level.
• Hold a valid teaching license.
• Has experience teaching at the upper secondary level, or alternatively is a recent graduate with a strong commitment to the profession.
