Description

The Unit for Child and Family Authority and LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Disabilities) is tasked with investigating and deciding on various types of interventions for children and youth, foster homes, and unaccompanied refugee children, as well as decisions within LSS. As one of our employees moves on to new challenges and we simultaneously strengthen the operations, we are looking for two new colleagues; Social Secretaries within Child and Youth. Responsibilities

As a Social Secretary within Child and Youth, you handle all recurring tasks within the authority regarding the target group. You investigate and assess the needs of children, young people, and their families for support and treatment interventions.

A large part of the responsibilities involves follow-up of approved interventions as well as collaboration with colleagues in other units, other administrations, other authorities, and principal bodies.

Qualifications

A degree in Social Work is required for the position. We would appreciate if you have experience with authority matters concerning children and young people. Training in BBIC (Barns Behov i Centrum) is meritorious, as is previous experience working as a foster care secretary. You are secure and curious about other people, see the importance of building relationships and creating networks. Personal suitability is highly valued. A B-driver's license is desirable.
