Description
The Investigation and Processing Unit is looking for a Team Leader who wants to help develop the work within social assistance.
Social support and livelihood are organized into two units that complement each other. The Investigation and Processing Unit is responsible for investigating the right to social assistance, while the Sustainable Livelihood Unit works with support measures that strengthen the individual's path towards self-sufficiency. Close collaboration between the units is central to the work.
The Investigation and Processing Unit consists of two work groups – the New Visit Group and the Social Law Team – each led by a Team Leader. The current position is currently placed in the New Visit Group, but you will work closely with the entire unit.
The unit's task is to investigate the right to social assistance, both for new visits and ongoing applications. The task also includes investigating suspected incorrect payments (FUT) as well as other cases within the unit's area of responsibility.
We work based on trust-based management and leadership, where developmental leadership and now also developmental employee relations are central approaches in everyday life.
Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, you lead and distribute the daily work in your group. You have a close leadership style where you coach and support employees in their work and contribute to their development.
You work actively to develop working methods, routines, and quality work within the unit.
The role also includes:
- ensuring legally secure processing
- making decisions according to delegation
- responsible for case distribution
- holding regular group meetings and other forums
Collaboration is an important part of the task. You collaborate closely with other Team Leaders, coordinators, and colleagues within the administration as well as with external partners to develop and ensure the quality of the operations.
In your leadership, you translate trust-based management into practice by creating conditions for participation, responsibility-taking, and learning in the group.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a social worker or have another academic education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working with social assistance or other public authority enforcement.
As a person, you are confident, structured, and have a good ability to prioritize in a daily life with varying tasks. You find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships, both internally and externally.
You are a leader with a close and trusting working style who can make decisions while creating participation and engagement in the group.

- thrive in a role where you need to take significant personal responsibility
