You want to give people a good everyday life. And a richer life. Just like us.
We are now looking for an experienced, curious, and driven social worker (or with an equivalent higher education degree in social work) who can contribute their expertise within the Addiction and Social Psychiatry unit. We are a collaborative organization that values cooperation within the administration as well as with external partners. We are looking for you who want to be part of our strive for high quality, satisfied users, and professional employees. We value a work environment where we support each other and care for each other's well-being.
Our unit consists of 22 employees, including one unit manager and one placement secretary. The Addiction team includes a group leader and 7 social secretaries, including one senior social secretary. The Social Psychiatry team includes a group leader and 10 social secretaries, including one senior social secretary and one resource coordinator. Our unit is located within the authority department and is responsible for persons aged 20 and above who are in need of support measures for mental disability and/or substance abuse/addiction/criminality.
As a social secretary at the unit, you will, together with your colleagues, investigate, assess needs, and plan and follow up on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act of Care for Substance Abusers in Certain Cases (LVM).
We want you to have a degree in social work or a higher education degree in social work that the employer finds equivalent. Previous experience of authority practice within addiction and harmful use is a requirement. Experience of working with the target group of dropouts/criminal applicants and training in ASI is considered meritorious.
To thrive in the role, we see it is important that you have an interest in the target group and are keen to adapt your working method to those you meet. The role requires you to be flexible and able to adapt quickly to changed conditions and priorities, which presupposes that you can work independently and are responsible. You have a professional approach, a curious and exploratory attitude, and a passion for collaboration. You need to be able to communicate easily both orally and in writing. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
We offer you a workplace with a great commitment to the target group and a non-hierarchical work group with a strong sense of community that ensures everyone has fun together. Your introduction is adapted to your needs; all new employees are assigned a mentor for the first period. You receive external group supervision and the opportunity to participate in internal and external training. We work in modern premises in the form of an activity-based office landscape in Sundbyberg City Hall, located in Hallonbergen, with proximity to the subway. The possibility to work from home exists.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with access upon agreement.
