About the position

Do you want to work as a therapist in a new initiative for young people involved in crime? We are looking for another therapist to join our team for young people in crime. The "Young Safe" initiative is provided to children, young people, and families with the aim of increasing safety, strengthening protective factors, and thereby reducing youth crime. The initiative is provided to the young person and their family in the home, both during the day, evenings, and weekends. The initiative is multimodal and intensive, providing a powerful complement to the municipalities' own collaboration efforts. It is provided at an indicated level, meaning it targets those who have already committed crimes or are suspected of doing so, and is granted through social services' assistance decisions. You will be part of a treatment team consisting of youth therapists, family therapists, and treatment leaders. Clinical work also takes place in the evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a social work degree or another equivalent higher education qualification. A requirement is that you have previous experience in treatment and change work with young people involved in crime. You should have knowledge and experience of CBT and a systemic approach, as well as familiarity with criminological theories. It is an advantage if you have experience working with young people and families, within authority operations or through outpatient programs for children and young people with behavioral problems. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

You should be flexible, energetic, and have a very good ability to build relationships. You also have good cultural competence combined with very good empathetic ability and personal maturity. It is also crucial that you share Magelungen's systemic and salutogenic approach, with a focus on respectful treatment and strengthening the competence of those we meet.
