What will you do?

Today, our solutions run primarily on-premises, but we are moving towards Google Cloud Platform with the goal of being fully there by 2028. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be an important part of this journey. Initially, you will work closely with the team on both manual and exploratory testing to understand our products, systems, and ways of working. From this foundation, you will help us build a more automated, sustainable, and cloud-adapted testing capability step by step.

You will become part of IT Sport & Casino Products, a cross-functional team where you work closely together and jointly take responsibility for quality, delivery, and learning, while working with well-known games like Stryktipset, Powerplay, and others.

In this role, you will be close to both technology and business. You will contribute practically to daily testing work, while helping the team identify where test automation adds the most value and how we can build solutions that are easy to understand, develop further, and maintain over time.

Some examples of what you will do:

• Perform manual, exploratory, and automated tests to ensure the functionality and stability of our products

• Contribute to developing and refining test strategies, ways of working, frameworks, and tools for a modern CI/CD process

• Help the team build a more automated testing capability step by step

• Develop and optimize automated tests in hybrid and cloud environments

• Participate in our migration from on-premises to the cloud, focusing on quality, stability, and sustainability

• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, product owners, tech leads, and team coaches

• Share knowledge and contribute to making testing and quality a natural part of the entire development flow

• Keep an eye on new technology, AI, and modern testing tools, and translate this into improvements that make a difference

We believe you recognize yourself in the following experiences and competencies:

• Testing and quality assurance in agile or cross-functional teams

• Manual and/or exploratory testing

• Test automation, for example in frontend, backend, or API testing

• Programming experience in languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript

• Understanding of CI/CD and how automated tests fit into the development flow

• Ability to see the big picture and prioritize testing efforts based on risk, utility, and quality

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you also recognize yourself in the following experiences and competencies:

• Cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Testing in cloud or hybrid environments

• Knowledge of event-driven systems

• Tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, REST Assured, or similar

• Kubernetes, Github Actions

• Previously built or further developed test frameworks

• Certifications in testing, cloud, or DevOps
