We are looking for a school psychologist with a genuine commitment to the development of children and young people. The position is a fixed-term holiday cover for approximately one year.

As a school psychologist, you work in a consultative capacity and closely with school staff, students, and guardians. You contribute psychological expertise to the promoting, preventive, and remedial work within the school.

Your Role

• Consultation, supervision, and advice to school staff.
• Contribute psychological expertise to child and student health services.
• Plan and implement competence-building and training initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.
• Investigate and assess issues regarding students' learning, behavior, and mental well-being.
• Recommend appropriate interventions and measures based on assessments conducted.
• Collaborate with schools and operations across the entire municipality.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone with the experience and competence to independently drive the work forward and contribute high quality to student health initiatives.

Requirements for the position:

• Degree in Psychology.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Highly meritorious:

• Experience in lecturing to both small and large groups.
• Previous experience working as a school psychologist.

About the Workplace

Children and Education is responsible for preschool, primary school, upper secondary school, adult education, as well as social services for children up to 18 years old. In Eslöv Municipality, there are 15 primary schools, including adapted primary schools, located both in the central town and in the localities of Marieholm, Stehag, Östra Strö, Flyinge, Löberöd, and Harlösa. Junior high school operations are conducted in Eslöv and Löberöd.

As a school psychologist, you will be part of a central team together with other psychologists, with your base location at Östergatan 8 in Eslöv. The role involves collaboration with operations across the entire municipality, so travel between different schools and facilities is included in the position. The system Prorenata is used for record-keeping within the operation.
