We are now looking for new colleagues for our two investigation groups at Adult Unit 2 in the Central Social Administration. The position is a permanent employment.

Adult Unit 2 consists of approximately 16 social secretaries distributed across three groups, each with a senior social secretary and a unit manager. One investigation group works with the target group for harmful use and addiction, and the other investigation group works targeted towards housing interventions, VNR (Violence in Intimate Relationships), and protected housing. In addition to social secretaries, a group of housing consultants also works with the administration's eviction prevention work at the unit. The office is located at Skånegatan 9A.

The adult area is organized with a joint reception unit and joint providers in the form of an adult support team (VST) and two investigation units (Adult Unit 1 and Adult Unit 2) as well as an eviction prevention team. We belong organizationally to the same department as the social assistance units in the administration. In the autumn, work will begin to expand the adult area with an additional unit aimed at young adults.

Job Responsibilities

The task of the Adult Unit is to process cases and provide support to people with problems related to homelessness and housing issues, crime/dropouts, harmful use and addiction, co-morbidity and/or violence in intimate relationships. We strive to find solutions together with the individual that are based on individual needs.

The task of the social secretaries is to investigate applications and reports, assess the need for interventions, formulate assignments for implementation, and follow up on interventions. The investigation work is carried out in accordance with current legislation, the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Persons with Certain Mental Illness Act (LVM). In our investigation work, we apply ASI, FREDA, and Patriark. A large part of the work involves collaboration both internally and externally.

As a social secretary with us, you will become part of a dedicated and stable work group. You will receive an individually adapted introduction based on your needs. You have support in your daily work from your senior social secretary and through method guidance in groups. You also have regular process guidance and competence development.

Qualifications

The position requires that you have a degree in social work. The investigation groups work with investigating the need for interventions according to SoL and LVM, which means that you should be well acquainted with the current legislation in the area. You should also have experience of authority exercise within social services.

It is meritorious if you have experience of working with housing issues, violence in intimate relationships, and harmful use and addiction issues. Experience of having worked in Treserva and training in MI, ASI, and Patriark is also meritorious. A B-driver's license is desirable for the position.

Furthermore, you have the ability to create trusting relationships, which is important as you will have many networks at different levels. Collaboration with both internal and external actors is part of everyday life, and you therefore need to be good at collaborating with others.

You treat your surroundings with respect, listen in, and create an understanding of the person and situation to be able to make well-founded decisions. You can convey information in a pedagogical way, and to succeed in the job, you need to be flexible and patient in contact with the clients. You enjoy documenting and express yourself well both orally and in writing.
