Adult Psychiatry Clinic 2 in Lund is a general psychiatric clinic with approximately 30 employees. Here, patients with affective disorders, anxiety conditions, as well as various forms of personality disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions are primarily assessed and treated. The clinic is located in the Psychiatry House on Baravägen, where several different psychiatric specialist clinics and our psychiatric emergency care are situated.

Our clinic is well-staffed, the staff has high competence, and in the teams work several doctors, psychologists, specialist and general nurses, counsellors, rehab coordinators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and medical secretaries. RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you genuinely interested in psychiatric treatment work and do you enjoy working with competent and well-educated colleagues to make a big difference in people's lives? Then you could be the nurse we are looking for! At the clinic, we work with the entire group of general psychiatric patients.

As a nurse, you primarily work with the initiation and follow-up of medication interventions and psychiatric well-being, as well as somatic checks. You work with the clinic's tele-advice and supportive conversations. In addition, you are the primary care contact for patients and participate in the multidisciplinary team work regarding the patients. With us, you get competent and present colleagues and are given the opportunity for further education and regular supervision. Since the position is at the clinic, you work during daytime hours according to the current agreement and with flextime linked to the employment.

As a new employee, you will receive an individually adapted introduction based on your previous experience. We assume that everyone has an individual learning process and consider it a matter of course that you receive support from colleagues to become secure in your new work role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. You have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. If you have specialist training in psychiatry, we see it as meritorious. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience working within general adult psychiatric care and, of course, an interest in psychiatry.

As a person, we are looking for you who has both good ability to collaborate and good ability to work independently when needed. Furthermore, we see that you contribute through your commitment and good communication, and gladly share your knowledge with colleagues and nursing students. We are keen to find the right person for the position and therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability.
