An agency client based in Kungsholmen is expecting their first child in June 2026 and is seeking an experienced and reliable Night Nanny / Infant Care Specialist to provide support during the baby’s first months. The role is expected to begin around mid-June 2026, with some flexibility around the exact start date. The initial contract will run for approximately five months (June–October 2026).

Schedule

• Approximately two full nights per week
• 9–10 hours per night
• Flexibility is appreciated, as there may be the possibility to transition some shifts to morning and/or afternoon hours depending on the family’s needs once the baby arrives. However the family understands if it's not possible for the nanny to change schedule.

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive overnight care for a newborn
• Bottle feeding, changing, soothing, and monitoring the baby
• Supporting healthy sleep routines and sleep training when developmentally appropriate
• Maintaining a simple feeding and sleep log for handover to parents
• Washing and sterilizing bottles
• Baby laundry and keeping the nursery tidy
• General baby-related organization

Light household assistance would be appreciated if the nanny is open to it, though it is not essential.

Environment

The baby will sleep in a separate room from the parents. During night shifts, the nanny will have access to a guest bed in the baby’s room.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience caring for newborns or very young infants
• Strong understanding of newborn care and sleep routines
• High level of English required
• Professional, reliable, and comfortable working overnight shifts

Contract Details

• Temporary placement: approximately June – October 2026
• Start date: around mid-June 2026, with flexibility

We can offer higher wages up to 210 SEK/hour for nannies with extensive experience and/or pedagogical education. Fixed monthly salaries occur within certain positions.
