We are currently looking for summer substitutes for July and August, with the possibility of further hourly employment. You will have a rolling schedule and fixed hours during the summer.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nurse assistant with a focus on psychiatry or an equivalent education within social care/care and assistance. You are computer literate and have good knowledge of Swedish, with strong abilities to express yourself both verbally and in writing. You have experience working with the target group of people with mental disabilities. It is an advantage if you have education/experience in care and support coordination as well as experience within social psychiatry.

As a person, we want you to be structured, have excellent teamwork skills, be relationship-building, and have a good ability to interact with other people. We also want you to contribute with engagement and participation.

Responsibilities

As a housing support worker, you currently work Monday to Friday. You perform both social and practical support measures to strengthen and support individuals in their ability to manage their daily lives, both inside and outside the home. The primary purpose is to support people with mental disabilities to meet and handle everyday life in various situations to the greatest extent possible on their own.

The goal is to contribute to a recovery process that can eventually make housing support unnecessary. This may involve providing support and guidance in performing various household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking, as well as supporting with finances and contact with other authorities. It also involves expanding daily life outside the home by supporting social contacts. The housing support should be designed with regard to the individual's varying needs, based on an individual implementation plan. The implementation plan is drawn up in consultation with the individual and is based on the measures the individual has been granted in their decision regarding housing support.

Ability to handle documentation is a must. You collaborate with colleagues and other important partners. As a housing support worker, you also have the task of drawing up and following up on implementation plans, contacting relatives, guardians/administrators, and participating in care planning and other meetings.
