The Education Sector includes preschool and school operations.

Description

Sannerudsskolan is a school for grades 7–9. The facilities are well-equipped both materially and technically. All classrooms are equipped with smartboards, and the students are equipped with computers according to the 1-to-1 concept.

The school is divided into three work teams, each with approximately 130 students in grades 7–9. Sports fields and forests are located in the immediate vicinity.

Sannerudsskolan is a school in change and is looking for teachers with drive and a willingness to participate in the change process. The position includes mentorship, and you will belong to a work team that focuses on the students' development, both academically and personally.

Responsibilities

Teaching in German and English. If you are qualified in additional subjects, it may be relevant to review how the position could look. The position also includes mentorship with standard duties.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license in German at the compulsory school level, preferably in combination with another subject. English is an extra asset. Previous experience working as a teacher in the later grades of compulsory school and with good references is a requirement. However, if you are a recent graduate with good grades from your practicum, do not hesitate to apply – as a new teacher here, you will have a mentor throughout your first year!

You have good cooperation skills, are positive, orderly, responsible, and build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are a secure and clear leader in the classroom and have the ability to see the whole student. In your work, you are also development-oriented and solution-focused. You can plan your work based on the fact that the workload varies during the school year, and you have the ability to handle more stressful periods.

Great importance will be attached to personal qualities.
