The Housing Support Section in Huddinge Municipality targets individuals with long-term mental disabilities between the ages of 18–65, or individuals with co-morbidity, addiction, and mental disabilities.

About the job

You will work throughout Huddinge Municipality with clients who have decisions on housing support or escort services according to the Social Services Act (SoL). The tasks involve receiving assignments (housing support or escort services) and ensuring that interventions are carried out in a methodical and pedagogical manner together with the client. Most of the work takes place in the client's own home. The assignment may involve supporting the client in gaining structure in their daily life, establishing and maintaining contact with healthcare or authorities, providing support regarding household economy, and similar tasks. Daily work includes record keeping and some documentation. We work Monday–Thursday between 08:00–17:00 and Fridays 08:00–14:45. Some evening or weekend work may occur. We operate out of offices in Flemingsberg and Trångsund.

About you

We are looking for you who have a university degree, preferably within social work (social worker, social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, or equivalent), or are trained as an assistant nurse with a focus on psychiatry (mental health nurse). We would like to see that you have previous experience with our target group. It is an advantage if you have case manager training or education in neuropsychiatry, addiction studies, ESL, and MI.

You who apply are good at creating social contacts and collaborating with others. You are structured, responsible, and good at motivating and engaging others. Possession of a B-driver's license is an advantage. For the position, good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
