About the job

Trissen is a municipal intrapreneurship within housing with special support (BmSS) according to the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The operation consists of three units: Dannemansvägen 5, Hyltegården 15, and Högsbogatan 21. Since the unit is run in an intrapreneurship model, you as an employee will have good opportunities to be involved in planning and developing the content of the operation and the unit.

We are now looking for a new support assistant for Nya Hyltegården who sees the challenge in working with people with special needs. Here you have the opportunity to combine your competencies by working in an operation that focuses on both developmental and supportive measures.

As an employee, your task is to provide residents with individually adapted support in their daily lives and to stimulate leisure activities and participation in everyday life. You will work from a pedagogical approach, which means you will focus on the individual's development opportunities and ensure the user's need for support in daily life.

We offer a developmental and stimulating work environment where you, together with the unit manager, support pedagog, and the work group, are responsible for, among other things, planning and developing the operation, maintaining given economic frameworks, actively seeking and disseminating information, and providing professional interaction.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree from the Care and Nursing Program, the Support Assistant Education, or the Child and Youth Program with a focus on social and pedagogical work. The educational requirement is also met if you have a specialization within the disability field comprising at least 200 YH points, 120 university credits, or 60 university credits combined with two years of work experience with people with disabilities. The courses should be within behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) nursing, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. It is meritorious if you have experience working with people with multiple disabilities.

The job requires good computer skills and knowledge of social documentation. We would prefer that you have experience with the scheduling tool Time Care Planering.

You will be part of a context where high demands are placed on teamwork. Therefore, it is important that you as a person are positive, cooperative, and solution-focused. You have a strong interest in working with people with functional variations, are sensitive to the needs and wishes of users and their relatives, and are flexible with a good approach. You take responsibility for your and the joint tasks with the operation's/users' best interests in focus.

Working hours are scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends.
