Our Mission
Within the Business Area Coordinated Support, we work to provide coordinated interventions for job seekers who need extensive support to enter or remain in the labor market. We work closely with both job seekers and employers with the goal of creating sustainable employment and contributing to employers' competence supply.
In this role, you work with SIUS (Special Introduction and Follow-up Support), which means you provide individualized support to job seekers with disabilities. The work takes place in close collaboration with employers and involves an active and outreach-oriented approach with a strong focus on creating and following up on sustainable employment.
Our Workplace
The Southern Skåne unit operates in 16 municipalities with employees located in both Malmö and Ystad. We are approximately 220 employees distributed across 12 sections. The location for this position is Ystad.
In the assignment, you work closely with job seekers and employers in southeastern Skåne, which involves regular travel within the area. We work together towards common goals and strive for a work climate characterized by participation, motivation, and responsibility-taking. Our leadership is coaching-oriented and results-focused, with an emphasis on creating good conditions for employees to succeed in their assignments.
Job Description
We are currently seeking an Employment Advisor within Coordinated Support with a focus on SIUS (Special Introduction and Follow-up Support).
In the role, you work to support job seekers with disabilities who are in need of more extensive and individualized support to enter or remain in the labor market. The work takes place in close collaboration with both job seekers and employers and is characterized by an active, relationship-building, and outreach-oriented approach.
You will work, among other things, with:
- mapping and assessing support needs,
- creating and following up on action plans,
- providing guidance on work and the labor market,
- collaborating with employers and other actors,
- creating, following up on, and developing sustainable employment,
- documenting and working according to laws, regulations, and processes,
- handling incoming cases via phone from job seekers and employers.
The work involves close and continuous support before, during, and after employment. You work to a high extent on-site at workplaces and build long-term collaborations with employers. Your employment begins with an introduction that gives you good conditions to succeed in the role as a state civil servant. The position involves travel by car.
Our Offer
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The location is Ystad.

Basic Requirements for the Position
- University/college education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the old system).
Alternatively
- You have been employed as an employment advisor at the Swedish Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good prerequisites to meet today's requirements for employment advisors.
And
- At least 2 years of working life experience, combined work at least 50 percent over a total of 2 years.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish.
- Class B driver's license.
Other Merits for the Position
- Working life experience from guidance and coaching.
- Experience in relationship-building work towards employers and business life.
- Experience and knowledge of collaboration with other actors, such as authorities, municipalities, partners, and employers.
- Experience from working with people with disabilities.
