Those who have a comprehensive need for care or supervision around the clock may be granted short-term accommodation if the need cannot be met through home care services, for example, after a hospital stay. The stay is time-limited and granted by a welfare officer in accordance with the Social Services Act for a maximum of one to two consecutive weeks. Thereafter, the decision is reviewed and can be extended in one-week intervals.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in the short-term unit involves providing care, support, and security. The work includes personal care such as help with hygiene, dressing, meals, and mobility, as well as delegated tasks according to health and medical care regulations.
An important part of the work is mapping the user's needs, functions, and resources to be able to adapt support individually. Observations of health status and changes are documented and reported to the responsible professional.
Collaboration in a cross-professional team takes place daily with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and welfare officers to create safe and high-quality care.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are ready for a new challenge and have a positive attitude towards change.
For the position, you must:
- Hold a professional title issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen)
- Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as documentation and communication are an important part of the work.
- Be confident in your professional role and able to handle different situations with calmness, respect, and professionalism.
- Have a good attitude and the ability to create security and trust among users and relatives.
- Enjoy a varied daily routine
Meritorious:
- Have experience working in a short-term unit
- Have specialized education in rehabilitation, acute care, or other relevant areas
- Have experience working in cross-professional teams
Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Working hours: Shift schedule. Day/evening/weekend
