We are looking for an adult therapist for a one-year project position, with the possibility of extension in some form. You want to help develop support for children and parents in families where adults have problematic alcohol and drug use. Here, you will work in an engaged environment together with colleagues who have a strong commitment and a clear desire to make a difference in people's lives.

We belong to the Individual and Family Support Department, where we work with a family-oriented approach. This means we look at the entire family system and strive for a consolidated and coordinated needs assessment. Our units collaborate closely and work together based on what is best for each family.

Your role

As a therapist in the project, you will become one of our employees working with the program "Me and My Family." The program aims to raise issues regarding harmful use or addiction and the family's situation in an objective, de-dramatized, and non-judgmental way. The focus is on involving children, valuing their perspectives, and giving their experiences space and significance. The intervention is voluntary and is provided within the framework of IUB (Individual Parental Support).

We are looking for you who can work in a driving, transparent, independent, and flexible manner. The role involves significant personal responsibility, while also demanding good collaboration skills, as the work is carried out in close cooperation with colleagues and other units within the department.

Your competence and experience

For this position, we are looking for you who have:

• A degree in Social Work or another higher education qualification that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Good knowledge of social services work.
• Experience working with adults who have problematic alcohol and drug use.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with change processes in families.
• Basic psychotherapy training, level 1.
• Knowledge of LGBTQI issues.
