Family Resource consists of two units, each with its own unit manager and five method supervisors. We are divided based on age groups and focus on younger and older children and teenagers. The units also include a group working with youth employment, an infant activity, and various group activities. Together with family therapists at the resource unit and our sister department, which works with school fields, outreach services, FCA, SIG, and SSPF, we have formed a family and resource house for families, children, and young people living in central Gothenburg. Our premises are located at Storgatan 53, a stone's throw from the Botanical Garden, with Avenyn and Heden as nearest neighbors.

You will work on assignment from social secretaries and work towards goals that the family wishes to receive help with. Work leadership is provided by method supervisors, and you will be part of a team where your colleagues are experienced family therapists. You will have the opportunity for method support and to participate in some competence-enhancing measures and information sessions, but otherwise, you will not participate in the unit's meetings or development work.

You will work individually with families, but if necessary, also in collaboration with family therapists at the unit.

The work is performed flexibly and according to your own preferences. The only thing you need to adapt your working hours to is, of course, the flextime agreement and to perform the work so that it works for the assignments you take on. We usually work between 8:00-16:30, but we appreciate that you are flexible outside these times if the family has a need for it.

Qualifications

You have a degree in social work or another university/college degree that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience of therapeutic work with families.

Since we work on assignment from handling social secretaries, it is good if you have experience of this and of documentation and the case management system Treserva.

We consider it central to the role that you have an engaged and genuine interest in the target group and experience of working therapeutically with young people.

It is meritorious if you have relevant further education relevant to work with the target group.

You collaborate with others on overarching issues to create value. You take into account different sources of information and perspectives and can adapt others' ideas to your own operations.

We in the Social Administration Centre work every day to ensure that residents in central Gothenburg get a better everyday life. Our assignments within the social sector are many and range from authority exercises to promotional and preventive measures. We work locally but also have operations that target the whole city to meet our residents' needs.
