Description

Vocational High School Norrköping is primarily seeking a certified vocational teacher in Automotive/Vehicles. You who have at least five years of work experience from the automotive industry/mechanic are also welcome to apply. Here, students learn a trade from the ground up on real workplaces with experienced supervisors. In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the future automotive mechanics. More than half of the students' education time takes place out on a workplace, giving them a stable foundation and an advantage in the labor market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future professional lives with the support of their supervisors and dedicated educators.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Automotive/Vehicles or alternatively has at least five years of experience from the industry and a strong drive to teach and supervise students.

• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge-builder between school, students, and the business community.

• Has a B-class driver's license and preferably access to a personal car.

• Has the ability to work independently while being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future professional lives.

Qualifications

Teaching degree or alternatively substantial experience within Automotive/Vehicles and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of automotive mechanics. Teaching certification and pedagogical experience are desirable, but not required.
