Description

Vocational High School Norrköping is primarily seeking a certified vocational teacher in Child and Youth Care (Barn och fritid). You are also welcome to apply if you have at least five years of work experience in preschool/school. Here, students learn a trade from the ground up on real job sites with experienced mentors. In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the future childcare workers/student assistants. More than half of the students' education takes place at a workplace, giving them a stable foundation and an advantage in the labor market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future professional lives with the support of their mentors and dedicated educators.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Child and Youth Care, or alternatively has at least five years of experience from preschool/school and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.

• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge-builder between school, students, and the business community.

• Has a B driver's license and preferably access to a personal car.

• Has the ability to work independently while also being team-oriented, collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future professional lives.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience within preschool/school and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of childcare workers/student assistants. Teaching certification and pedagogical experience are desirable but not mandatory.
