About the role

Academic Work is recruiting Order Pickers on behalf of our client. The assignment is part-time, approx. 8-10 hours per week, with an immediate start and extends long-term alongside your studies.

Our client offers a long-term assignment with fixed working hours on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the possibility of increased hours during the summer. You will work in a cheerful team where you always have experienced colleagues to support you. Work clothes and safety shoes are provided.

Responsibilities

As an Order Picker, you will handle incoming goods, register them in the system, and pick and pack orders for delivery. The role primarily involves order picking and handling goods in cold and freezer environments, as well as registering goods in the system. The work is done with a forklift and in close collaboration with experienced colleagues. Mondays mainly consist of inbound deliveries and goods receiving, while the rest of the time focuses on order picking and outbound deliveries. The work takes place at a sometimes high pace where structure and accuracy are of great importance.

• Handling of incoming deliveries and goods
• Picking orders in cold and freezer environments (+5 degrees to -22 degrees)
• Using a forklift to transport and place goods
• Preparing and packing goods for delivery
• Registering goods in the correct storage location in the business system

We are looking for you who

• Are studying at a post-secondary level and have at least 1.5 years of studies left as the role is long-term
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as it is used in daily work
• Hold Forklift License A and B

It is an advantage if you:

• Have work experience from practical work previously (warehouse, fitter, or equivalent)
