Run your own department with a focus on profitability, assortment, and development in a store where pace, ideas, and business are at the center.
About the role
As the Fresh Food Sales Manager, you have clear responsibility for your department – both operationally and commercially.
Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring a sales-driven, well-stocked, and inspiring department
- Actively working with profitability, margins, and shrinkage
- Driving campaigns, new products, and developing the assortment
- Ensuring correct pricing, shelf care, and visibility
- Working with self-control and cleaning routines
- Communicating with suppliers and receiving sales representatives
- Contributing to efficient and structured daily operations
You have great freedom in the role and the opportunity to influence – while also having support from the store management. Initiative, ideas, and a working style where you dare to try new things are encouraged here.
Working hours
- Full-time, permanent
- Daytime shifts and every other weekend
- Example working hours: 06:30–15:30 weekdays, 06:30–13:00 weekends
We are looking for you who:
- Have experience from the grocery retail industry (DVH)
- Have a clear business mindset and understand store profitability
- Are structured and have a grip on the details that make a difference
- Thrive in an operational pace and enjoy taking responsibility
- Have experience with systems such as Min Butik or StoreOffice
- Have knowledge of self-control procedures
You might currently be the bread department manager, cashier supervisor, or responsible for another department – and want to take the next step.
We view with extra positivity those who have ambitions to develop further within ICA and, in the long run, wish to take greater responsibility, for example as Store Manager or Buyer.
