The unit is part of the Finance Department, led by the municipality's Finance Director. The Finance Department has a coordinating role and provides support and services to the entire municipality. We work together to ensure that our residents and operations get the most out of every tax krona. We actively work to prevent fraud and welfare crimes in all municipal purchases, as well as to meet future challenges regardless of our function. RESPONSIBILITIES

Järfälla Municipality is a growing municipality, and we can offer many exciting procurements within the construction sector. Furthermore, the Procurement Unit is undergoing a major improvement process aimed at shifting from a primarily operational focus to strategic work. We are developing new processes and routines and working towards increased quality and procurements that ensure a good business deal, adding real value to our municipality!

As a construction procurement specialist, you will primarily work with planning and executing construction procurements of varying complexity. You will also play an important role in the development work currently underway within the purchasing and procurement activities. We want you to contribute energy, knowledge, and a desire for development to the improvement work we carry out together. You will work closely with experts in the municipality's operations and with colleagues at the unit. Each procurement is conducted with a lead procurement specialist and a deputy procurement specialist to ensure good quality, accessible support, and continuity. In addition, we share experiences and knowledge within the unit and help each other. Having a sustainable work life and enjoying your job is central to everything we do.

QUALIFICATIONS

Several years of experience as a procurement specialist conducting construction procurements in the public sector.
Relevant academic education (e.g., construction, law, economics, procurement) or alternatively post-secondary education in purchasing or public procurement, or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent.
Good knowledge of current regulations in the Public Procurement Act (LOU) as well as other applicable provisions and practice within construction procurement.
Experience and application of AB 04, ABT 06, ABK 09, ABFF, and AMA AF.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
