Do you want to become a counselor in the Neuro Team at Nacka Rehab Center?

At Nacka Rehab Center, all outpatient rehabilitation is gathered under one roof in well-equipped facilities that include a therapy pool, gym, gymnastics halls, and a training kitchen. In addition to primary care rehabilitation, including the neuro team, chiropractor, and naprapat, we provide specialized physiotherapy in sports medicine, heart and lung diseases, pain, mental health, oncology, OMT, and neurology. We have many professional categories, and some rehabilitation takes place in teams. There is a unique opportunity to collaborate with many specialists at the same clinic. We have our own R&D group.

Responsibilities:

The assignment concerns adults within our Neuro Team. You work closely together with a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and speech therapist. The main tasks are psychosocial assessment work and counseling contacts (crisis processing) during the rehabilitation period, as well as support for relatives. The work can take place both at home and at the clinic, both individual visits and team visits. The tasks also include supervising students.

Qualifications:

A degree in social work (socionom) and a few years of experience in outpatient/neurological rehabilitation. A B-class driver's license is required. Knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least C1 level is a requirement.

Employment type:

Temporary position 70%, 2026-08-17 to 2027-01-31, with a good chance of extension.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

• Register control is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register control upon employment.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
• In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
