About the role and your responsibilities

As a school nurse, your work focuses primarily on health promotion and prevention. Your duties include health conversations, addressing issues related to the students' working environment, basic healthcare interventions, and joint reception with the school doctor. You will be part of a student health team with the shared mission of supporting students' development towards educational goals, documenting according to current guidelines and legal requirements, participating in the development of the school's student health work, and engaging in interdisciplinary collaborations.

We are looking for...

...a registered nurse with specialized training as a school nurse, pediatric nurse, or district nurse. You have a positive view of students and possess strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, students, and guardians. You are well-versed in the governing documents of upper secondary school. To succeed in this role, you need to be solution-focused, flexible, and engaged.

About the workplace

Cathedral School (Katedralskolan) is the oldest school in the Nordic countries, founded as early as 1085. Located in central Lund, it is easily accessible by public transport for our 1,500 students and 160 employees. The school offers high-quality education within five different university-preparatory programs. The school's goal is to provide a safe and study-motivating environment for all students, where they can develop and receive both the challenge and the help and support they need.

The Education Department is responsible for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, adult education, international primary school, and mother tongue activities, and has over 1,200 employees.
