Do you want to work with salary issues in a coordinating role where structure, analysis, and collaboration are in focus? At Borås City, you will have a central position in the work with salary setting and salary development, together with colleagues who contribute to developing the municipality as an employer.
About the DepartmentThe Personnel and Negotiations Department is part of the City Executive Office, which is the administration for the Municipal Executive Board. The role of the City Executive Office is to support the Municipal Executive Board in their mission to effectively lead, coordinate, and develop the entire municipal operations.
The administration consists of ten departments, one of which is Personnel and Negotiations. On the department, we are just under 20 people who mainly work with strategic personnel policy, agreements and negotiations, as well as pensions and insurance to develop the city as an employer.
The department is located in the City Hall quarter, which is centrally located in Borås with proximity to the central station and travel center.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Negotiation Coordinator, you primarily work with issues within the salary area. Your work takes place in close collaboration with your colleagues in Personnel and Negotiations, where you contribute with the salary perspective to the department's mission.
You contribute to developing working methods and approaches based on Borås City's salary policy, and coordinate the operational work with salary settings and the salary review process.
The work involves, together with your colleagues, monitoring the external environment in your area of responsibility, developing principles, routines, and working methods for salary setting for both new hires and salary reviews. You will also work with:
- Producing and analyzing salary statistics and developing steering documents.
- Following up on salary reviews and identifying possible areas for improvement regarding the process.
- Planning and conducting relevant training initiatives within salary setting and the salary review process, as well as being a support for managers and local support functions.
- Being a system support in the personnel system's modules for salary review and LAS (Swedish Employment Protection Act).
- Performing administrative tasks within your and the negotiation function's area of responsibility.
We are looking for you with an academic degree focused on HR or another degree that the employer considers equivalent. If you have previously worked with salary formation issues such as salary setting and salary reviews, it is an advantage.
As a person, you are confident, communicative, structured, and see collaboration as a significant part of succeeding in your mission. You take initiative for improvements and development within the areas you operate in. Being a proficient user of IT support is a prerequisite for the position as you need to be able to use various systems in your daily work; if you have previously worked with the personnel system Heroma, it is an advantage. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and express yourself well both orally and in writing. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
