Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Kristianstad area is part of BUP Skåne and includes units in Hässleholm, Kristianstad, and Ystad. The area has approximately 100 employees working with and for children and adolescents up to 18 years old with moderate to severe mental illness and their families. Outpatient clinics are located in Hässleholm, Kristianstad, and Ystad. Assessments, investigations, and treatments for children and adolescents are performed at all clinics. The work includes both family and network support. BUP Skåne's emergency services are located in Malmö, as are the specialist clinics, and for several years it has been an accredited university healthcare unit, which among other things means that we have a close collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at Lund University regarding both research and education. The academic work permeates our operations. We value interest and experience from research and education when appointing all our positions.
BUP Kristianstad consists of an intake unit where outpatient care is the basis of the clinical operations, and here we also have an intermediate care unit, an eating disorder team, and a toddler and young child unit. We are a staff group of approximately 35 employees consisting of nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, health and social care counselors, social workers, child psychiatrists, resident doctors, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, PTP psychologists, and unit managers. During the terms, we often also have social work candidates, psychology candidates, and nursing students with us. We have a close collaboration with the Habilitation center regarding shared patients. We work based on standardized care processes.
The work environment with us is characterized by positivity and support, and our staff group possesses broad knowledge and solid experience.
1 position(s).
DUTIES
The duties include, among other things, investigation and treatment, receiving and initiating interventions at new visits, psychoeducation, and network work in collaboration with schools and municipalities in the surrounding area. We are an integrated clinic where you as a psychologist will work variably with neuropsychiatric investigations and psychological treatment.
The forms of treatment vary to suit children and young people of different ages and to best match the families' problems. The work is partly carried out through the use of digital treatment interventions. In your daily work, you collect and assess information, make decisions, and plan the patient's care to then carry it out. This takes place primarily in investigative and therapeutic conversations with both patients and guardians. Treatments are given both individually and in group format. Our operations are distinguished by broad child and adolescent psychiatric competence with a large focus on developmental issues and cross-professional collaboration between the different professional groups. We have an ambition to develop care and offer you good opportunities for professional development and continuous further education based on interest and in line with the patients' needs and the operations' goals. Based on your previous experience, we create a plan for your introduction with supervision and a mentor.
Working hours are daytime Monday to Friday from 08:00-16:30 with a flexible working agreement.
