We are now looking for you who want to be part of this, as our new Digital Business Developer for our Business Development team at the support office in Kungälv.

What you will build with us

STC has built a significant amount of digital infrastructure over the last decade. Systems have been added, integrations connected, and suppliers have owned parts of the infrastructure that we should really own ourselves. It has worked, but it won’t hold in the long run.

This role is about fixing that. You map out what we actually have, form an opinion on what needs to change, and then drive the transformation with an AI-first perspective. You report to the CFO and become part of STC’s new Business Development team. The team includes several colleagues driving commercial development, partnerships, and concepts, and together you lift the whole picture. You work closely with our other Digital Business Developer, and together you own the digital track.

A large part of the assignment involves eliminating administration, creating automations, and developing digital solutions that make everyday life easier for the entire organization, including our members. The time we free up can be invested where it actually makes a difference: getting more people moving.

We are building capacity in-house to meet digital development. This requires someone who understands both the system and the business behind it, and who thrives on owning the big picture. You step in early enough to shape the direction, and late enough for the direction to gain traction.

What you have done and who you are

You have 5–10 years of experience from tech companies, web agencies, scale-ups, or your own limited company, and have driven products all the way from idea to launch. Common to your background is that you have built things yourself, made decisions on both technology and business, and have gradually become more drawn to business issues than to the next feature.

In recent years, you have transitioned from developer and/or architect to AI-first — still confident in the technical aspects, but with curiosity grounded in what you have actually delivered. You work iteratively, thrive in environments where processes are built while products are built, and enjoy the breadth of switching between technical and operational questions.

You build daily with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and similar tools, combine them with your own prompts and code, and have probably already automated away half of your own job. You can reason about why certain AI flows work in production while others die after the demo. You have side projects and have tested what most people are still talking about testing.

You preferably have experience with

• Digital product development from idea to launch, preferably at a web agency or scale-up

• System architectural thinking — how data flows and what it means for the business

• Both requirement setting for external suppliers and building in-house

• Cross-functional work with design, data, and business in dynamic environments

Requirements

• Tech background with practical experience in system development or architecture

• 5–10 years of documented experience in digital product development

• Post-secondary education in systems science, computer science, or equivalent — or alternatively documented experience that replaces formal education

• Documented habit of using AI tools daily.

Our recruitment process

As part of the recruitment process, we use tests from Alva Labs, not as a selection tool but at a later stage in the process. The tests consist of a logical problem-solving test and a personality test. The tests take approximately 30 minutes to complete in total, and you will receive information and examples of tasks before starting the actual test. We will make selections continuously until we find our new star!
