We at Drottning Blankas Gymnasieskola are now looking for an experienced and engaged hairdressing teacher to join our lovely team.

About the position

As a hairdressing teacher with us, you play a key role in the students' development. You will conduct teaching in both theoretical and practical areas within hairdressing. The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching, as well as motivating and guiding the students towards their goals – both in school and in preparation for their workplace-based learning (APL).

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and has several years of experience as a hairdresser. If you have a pedagogical education or previous teaching experience, it is highly meritorious, but your personality and positive engagement are equally important to us.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Extensive experience: Hairdressing license/journeyman certificate and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and techniques.

• Great engagement: You are passionate about the craft and have the ability to infect students with your energy.

• Drive and initiative: You develop the teaching and see opportunities rather than problems.

• Focus on the work environment: You are a team player who contributes to a positive, supportive, and non-hierarchical atmosphere in the staff room, the operation, and in the classroom.
