Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You uphold the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative, see what needs to be done, and possess strong values, enjoy being social, and are playful.

We are currently looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Wish to work for a 9-year-old girl living on Hönö
• Have good knowledge of Swedish
• Have experience working as a personal assistant
• Have good physical fitness and enjoy being outdoors in all weather conditions
• Are a non-smoker
• Tolerate pets as there is a cat in the household

The following would be an advantage:

• Experience working with a lift

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment percentage of approximately 65%. Working hours are scheduled for daytime and evening on the following days:

Tuesday 07:00–20:00

Friday 07:00–20:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other compensations are made according to the collective agreement.

Start date according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers must request a background check from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority regarding your criminal record prior to any potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
