Degerfors IF is now seeking an Economic Manager for a parental leave substitute position, based at the Sports Office at Stora Valla.

Degerfors IF is a club with strong traditions, great commitment, and operations within elite football, the academy, youth activities, and community projects. The role of Economic Manager is central to our daily operations and involves close collaboration with the Club Manager, sports department, marketing, and the rest of the organization.

We are looking for someone who is organized, responsible, and thrives in a work environment where days vary between ongoing economic tasks, administration, and operational support.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ongoing economic administration and accounting
• Handling supplier and customer invoices
• Bank reconciliations and coding
• Payroll administration and processing
• Handling expense reports and payments
• Invoicing for partnerships and agreements
• Monitoring budgets and economic results
• Preparing economic reports and liquidity forecasts for board meetings
• Administration related to player transfers and FoFis (Football for the Future)
• Handling data and reporting to various authorities as well as FIFA, SvFF, and UEFA
• Bookkeeping and economic follow-up in connection with matches and events
• Contact with external parties such as auditors, suppliers, and authorities
• Other administrative support within the club's operations

The work includes both recurring tasks and more season-based activities linked to the elite football operational year.

• Have experience in economics, accounting, or administration
• Are meticulous, organized, and self-motivated
• Have good computer skills and are quick to learn new systems
• Enjoy responsibility and working in a dynamic environment
• Have good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach

Experience from club life, sports, or similar activities is meritorious but not a requirement.
