About the Operation

The primary school/adapted primary school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation covers 21 primary schools as well as adapted primary school, and the total number of students is approx. 4,500. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school centers.

About the Workplace

Smedsby School (grades F-6 and after-school) is located on the outskirts of Motala, close to Lake Vättern and beautiful nature. Smedsby School has an outdoor profile that promotes health and movement.

Responsibilities

We are looking for you who want to work as a music teacher in grades 1-6. Here you will work closely with the pedagogical operations.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum and course plan. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' knowledge development through varied working methods based on their individual prerequisites.

Qualifications

We are now looking for you who have a primary school teacher degree and certification for music in grades 3-6.

Since Smedsby is a small unit, it is required that you are good at collaborating and can adapt and find solutions through a non-hierarchical focus on the common goal.
