We are looking for a teacher

As a teacher with us, you work based on a pedagogical model we call the Learning Model. This model involves organizing teachers into teams that teach students cross-curricularly together in one grade level. We call this "team teaching." In the role of a team teacher, you create conditions for learning and guide towards the goals of the organization. You plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching together with your team teaching colleague. You will participate in development work, team collaboration, and are expected to collaborate with colleagues in various ways. You and your team teaching colleague work with one specific grade level instead of several, following them through the cross-curricular work. This allows you to build closer relationships and a more secure interaction.

The cross-curricular work is based on assignments built according to LGR22, which provides a supportive framework for equity and quality. The assignments in turn contain clear elements of cooperative and value-creating learning. In this way, school becomes more meaningful and much more fun.

About the position as a Mathematics Teacher for Lower Secondary School

As a mathematics teacher at the lower secondary level, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on teaching in accordance with the curriculum and other regulatory documents. You teach mathematics with a focus on developing students' mathematical abilities, such as problem-solving, conceptual understanding, reasoning, and communication. To create the best possible conditions for our students, we also invest in a two-teacher model, where you together with your closest colleague are responsible for the mathematics teaching at the lower secondary level. When there is the opportunity to have two subject teachers during all lessons, student knowledge development can be supported and promoted more effectively.

You create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment where teaching is adapted to students' different needs and prerequisites. The assignment includes working with assessment, documenting students' knowledge development, as well as setting and following up on grades. You provide clear feedback that supports students' continued learning. Collaboration with colleagues in work teams and subject teams is an important part of the position, as is participation in the school's systematic quality work. You actively contribute to the school's values work and strive for good study environment, security, and a positive climate in the classroom and at the school.

Qualifications

To be considered for the assignment, we see that you have:

• Teacher certification with eligibility in mathematics.
• Previous experience in pedagogical work in the role of a teacher.
