Job Description

As the First Case Worker for the LSS team and the SoL case workers, you lead your colleagues in daily work, act as a support in complex cases, and help create structure, consensus, and progress in the operations.

The units consist of a total of 13 employees, of whom 4 work with case processing according to LSS/social psychiatry and 9 with case processing according to the Social Services Act (SoL) for the elderly.

Your assignment as a First Case Worker rests on two pillars: user-related issues and operation-related issues. You work in a supportive and coaching manner to lead daily work with a focus on quality assurance and ensuring legal security based on current evidence. You also work with internal/external collaboration, developing procedures, following and analyzing changes in the target groups' needs, and driving development work within the group as well as across the entire department.

Together at the unit, we ensure that the work is characterized by active employee participation, self-confidence, engagement, courage, and collaboration to create trusting relationships both internally and externally.

The role also involves:

• Coordinating and developing working methods
• Simplifying processes and creating clarity
• Being a close support to case workers in daily work
• Contributing to good collaboration between professions and operations
• Participating in development work and quality issues
• Working closely with both the region and our short-term care unit regarding care planning and collaboration, becoming an important part of our cross-professional teams

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a Social Worker (Socialsekreterare/Socionom)
• Have experience in case processing within LSS and/or SoL
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Are confident in your professional role and enjoy supporting others
• Easily collaborate and build good relationships
• It is meritorious if you have experience with both legislative frameworks, but most importantly, you must have an interest and willingness to work within both areas.
