As a student employee with us, you will combine your knowledge of technology and business operations. The goal is to automate parts of the operations. An ongoing project involves translating railway signaling requirements into HLL code, where a language model is being trained and is scheduled to be launched in 2026 as a tool within the administration for formal requirements. Your role will be to lead change management for the users. You will also contribute to evaluating the possibilities of utilizing generative AI in other areas and participate in Proof of Concept (POC) projects.

The team managing our formal requirements consists of 3 people. The network also includes Trafikverket Labs, technology-focused administrations, and the administration of Trafikverket's infrastructure regulations. Trafikverket has a national organization, so your colleagues are located in different regions.

You will lead the work independently, with responsibility for planning check-ins with various stakeholders. It is not predetermined which methods or tools will get us to the goal; your investigations and decision-making materials will be crucial. Key parts of the decision-making materials include technology choices, organizational opportunities, and cost comparisons.

The employment lasts for the semester, with the possibility of extension for additional semesters.

Who are you?

You are solution-oriented and have the ability to quickly adapt to different tasks. You are motivated by active participation, taking responsibility for your tasks in a goal-directed manner while being mindful of how you contribute to the whole by collaborating with others.

• You are studying full-time at the university level within IT and have completed at least 60 university credits
• You must not have started doctoral studies
• English proficiency in both speech and writing
• Documented experience in training language models within AI

As part of our team, you will work 25%, which corresponds to approximately 10 hours per week. We understand the importance of adjusting working hours to fit your studies, so we will discuss working hours together to ensure it suits you and your studies.
