About the Role
In the role of embedded developer, you will work with the development, further development, and maintenance of advanced presentation and registration systems in a technically complex environment.
You will become part of a team working with the development and testing of software components for real-time systems and user interfaces in safety-critical applications. The work covers both software and hardware-near functionality with a focus on performance, reliability, and quality.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Design and development of embedded software
- Integration and functional testing in lab environments, simulators, and rigs
- Further development of test tools and automation
- Code review and requirements analysis
- Verification, porting, and documentation of software functions
- Work in various operating systems and programming environments, both on host and target platforms
The work takes place primarily on-site at the company's premises and in close collaboration with experienced and engaged colleagues.
We are looking for you who
We are looking for you who have a great interest in embedded systems and thrive in a technically advanced development environment. You are analytical, quality-conscious, and accustomed to working structured both independently and in a team.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
- Experience in development, testing, or optimization of embedded systems
- Experience with Linux, Unix, or Windows environments
- Familiarity with agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you also have experience with:
- Embedded Linux and RTOS
- Programming in Pascal and/or ADA
- Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
- DevOps and CI/CD flows
- Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
- OpenGL, image processing, or video streaming
- Safety-critical systems within areas such as aviation, automotive, or medical technology
