Do you want to work at a comprehensive school (grades 0-9) where collegial collaboration, security, and development are in focus?
Gröna Dalenskolan is a two-parallel comprehensive school located centrally in Håbo Municipality, with close access to football fields, athletics facilities, a swimming pool, and an ice rink. The school is adjacent to Lunaskolan, the municipality's adapted primary school, which has its own premises right next door.
Our vision is that students will encounter teaching that is clear, accessible, and challenging, contributing to security and a conducive study environment. Therefore, the staff continuously work to follow up, analyze, and develop education based on national goals and regulatory documents that promote pedagogical leadership. Through professional collaboration between different professions, continuous development, and a health-promoting approach, we strive to create a learning environment where students' development, health, and hope for the future are at the center. We also collaborate with the police, social services, and other actors.
Your responsibilities
- You will teach Spanish in grades 6-9. The position is part-time at 50%.
- You will work from an inclusive perspective with an understanding of the importance of teaching in different ways.
- You will actively work with an accessible learning environment on all levels.
- You create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
- You work with collegial learning and are familiar with current research.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a certified comprehensive school teacher with eligibility to teach Spanish. You have previous experience of teaching at the middle school level (grades 7-9).
You have a strong commitment and are confident in your professional role. You are a clear leader in the classroom, have the ability to create a warm classroom climate, and can inspire students in their learning. You are genuinely interested in creating, maintaining, and nurturing good relationships with both colleagues and students and guardians. It is a matter of course for you to always have the student's best interests at heart. You have good collaboration skills, good communication skills, good IT knowledge, and are well-versed in pedagogical documentation.
