We are now looking for a Social Secretary for Investigation and Follow-up Adults, Care Unit

Your Role

Do you want to work on a concrete and socially important assignment where you can make a real difference?

We are currently seeking a Social Secretary for Investigation and Follow-up Adults, with an initial focus on strengthening and developing our eviction prevention work in the municipality.

In this role, you will:

• work proactively to identify and reach individuals at risk of eviction
• coordinate interventions together with colleagues, landlords, and other external actors
• support individuals in their contacts with social services, the Swedish Enforcement Authority, rent tribunals, and other authorities
• contribute to developing methods that prevent evictions at an early stage

You will have a coordinating function where you plan, follow up, and drive the work forward. The work involves both independent contacts and close collaboration with others.

As a Social Secretary within Investigation and Follow-up Adults, the role also includes supporting the reception unit and participating in back-office duties as needed. In the long term, the role may broaden to include other target groups within official decision-making.

On the unit, we investigate, make decisions, and follow up on interventions in accordance with current legislation. We offer interventions such as housing support, Case Management, employment programs, training apartments, and special housing.

Investigation and Follow-up Adults is part of the Care Unit and consists of a group manager, three group leaders, 20 social secretaries, and two senior social secretaries. We work with target groups within addiction, social psychiatry, young adults, and eviction prevention.

We are in an exciting development phase where you will have the opportunity to influence and develop the operations.

Group Manager Åsa Faltin leads the work together with group leaders, focusing on psychological safety and a good working environment. At our workplace, competence development and participation are important parts of achieving high quality.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Worker)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong documentation skills

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience in official decision-making within relevant target groups
• Knowledge of addiction issues, psychiatry, and neuropsychiatric disabilities
• Experience in eviction prevention work
• Knowledge of rental law and social services legislation
