I am an active, independent, and social 59-year-old woman with cerebral palsy, living in my own apartment in Majorna.

I need personal assistance in my daily life with everything from toilet visits and personal hygiene to other chores such as transfers using a mobile lift, help with putting on and taking off hearing aids, cleaning, clothing care, cooking, etc.

At my place, assistants do not have any medical responsibility. I inform you about which medications I need and when, as well as other practical matters such as boiling water for my sleep ventilator.

At my place, you do not work from a checklist of what needs to be done; instead, I tell you what I need assistance with. My days vary regarding meal times, help with dressing, etc.

As an assistant, you accompany me and provide assistance at club activities, meetings with friends and family, outings, shopping in stores, etc.

Since I have difficulty moving my arms and hands, you as an assistant need to help me write SMS messages often, both private SMS and texts for club magazines, etc. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that you have a good command of Swedish and can express yourself clearly, considering that I have a hearing impairment.

The job as a personal assistant at my place may involve meeting me at other locations and ending your shift at locations other than my apartment. When I travel using transport service for people with disabilities, I need to have a personal assistant with me, so if you are to meet me elsewhere and have your car to work at my place, you must park your car at my place first.

I am primarily looking for assistants who want to work nights, as these are the shifts I have the greatest need for substitutes. The night shifts are scheduled from 21:00 to 08:00. During night shifts, I have active time from 21:00 to 02:30, and then waiting time from 02:30 to 07:00.

My other shifts are scheduled from 08:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 21:00.

I need summer substitutes from June/July to August. In June, I do not need as many substitutes, but primarily in July and August. The substitute positions are not full-time jobs, but can range between 50-90% depending on your availability.

If we get along well, there are great opportunities to continue as a substitute even after the summer.
