Who are we?

In the autumn of 2019, we started a completely new school in the Bråvalla area, moving the vocational programs from Ebersteinska Gymnasium here. Bråvallagymnasiet is an educational center for vocational training and is a creative and modern school filled with the latest technology.

The school has approximately 750 students across a wide range of vocational programs. In January 2026, we also launched transport services for adult students at Bråvalla.

Bråvallagymnasiet is a new and modern high school for students interested in technology, innovation, and practical problem-solving. Here, students receive a vocational diploma with the opportunity to continue their studies.

We have close collaborations with companies that provide students with internships, jobs, and exciting career opportunities. Through joy, a great atmosphere, and skilled teachers, we shape individuals who are professionally competent, secure, and strong.

Your Responsibilities

As a teacher in the program, you will teach subjects/courses related to the program's various vocational paths within HVAC (VVS), Ventilation, or Property/Facility Management. You will teach students studying in an apprenticeship format, with the majority of their education taking place at a company, as well as students studying at the school. The role involves close contact with the industry regarding internship placements (APL) and visits, as well as conducting assessment meetings in the form of tripartite meetings with supervisors and students.

Work is carried out in teacher teams with clear responsibilities and authority, and a well-adapted assignment that should lead to increased engagement, efficiency, and the spread of new pedagogical ideas. We have ongoing development work to ensure we provide our students with the best vocational education.

Mentorship of students is included in the position.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a qualified vocational teacher and/or have broad experience and professional knowledge within one of the program's vocational paths and wish to work as a teacher with us at Bråvallagymnasiet. A B-class driver's license is a requirement. Industry certificates are meritorious. In working with students, it is meritorious if you have previous teaching experience at the high school level or have been a supervisor for students during internships (APL - Workplace-based learning).

As a person, you are outgoing, enjoy contact with students, and have good collaboration skills. You are secure, stable, and distinguish between the personal and professional, and have the ability to give clear instructions to others.

You relate in a listening and humble manner in your collaboration with others. You consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions, and you are particularly skilled at creating a good learning environment with peace and security for your students.

You plan teaching together with colleagues and enjoy passing on your knowledge and profession to the students at the school.

You inspire and motivate others and create engagement and participation. You are a knowledge resource and try to find new ways together with your colleagues to promote student learning.

To succeed in the position, we see that you have good communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You also have good computer skills.
