Teacher for Grade 1 at Vittra Jakobsberg

Your Role

We offer a permanent position at 100% with teaching in Grade 1. You will be part of a two-teacher team together with your mentor colleague. You belong to the lower primary school work team and participate in work team meetings and collegial pedagogical meetings.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with broad subject qualifications for Grades 1-3.

As a teacher at Vittra, you help shape conscious children and students by giving them the right tools and knowledge to create a more sustainable society. To be able to do this, you need the right personal qualities:

You thrive in an environment characterized by courage and conscious learning.

You are unpretentious (really). At us, the team comes before the individual, and the focus in all our decisions is based on the students' best interests. You have the ability to turn experiences into insights and do not let personal matters get in the way of work at the school. You are an adult role model at the school and therefore always part of the solution, not the problem.

You have situational leadership skills and are prepared for the fact that the school is a event-driven operation, where no day is like another. We have up to 500 children and students, who together with 70 adults must collaborate daily in many different contexts. This means that different types of situations arise in classrooms and in corridors, just as in any other school. Then you need to be secure in that and above all be able to handle it with calmness and wisdom.

You create trusting relationships with both students and parents as well as colleagues.

You are skilled at teaching, or well on your way to becoming so. It does not matter if you are already an experienced teacher in the classroom or a future star. The important thing is that you have drive, curiosity, and a desire to constantly develop in your role. You have an interest and engagement in your teaching that inspires and motivates students to want to learn. You have the ability to meet students individually.

The position is a permanent employment starting from August 11, 2026. We apply a six-month probation period.
