What do we offer?

In the role of District Nurse, you work with telephone advice and clinic duties. You participate in medical assessments and work closely with other professional categories at the clinic. We use the medical record system Cosmic, and we would appreciate it if you are familiar with handling this system. We would like you to be involved in working with processes and routines.

At the health center, we have a diabetes clinic, a geriatric clinic, a heart failure clinic, a clinic for asthma and COPD, and a hypertension clinic.

Our view of primary care is that we work together with all competencies, where all parts are equally important. We also have a permanent medical staff. It is easy to reach us by public transport. We consider it a given that you want to contribute with joy in work!

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a competent and positive District Nurse and would appreciate it if you have prior experience from primary care.

We place great importance on you contributing to an open and positive work climate together with your colleagues. To succeed in the role, it is important that you are comfortable working independently and have good collaboration skills with the rest of the team. Of course, you always have the patient in focus and you value good treatment both on the phone and in personal meetings.

Clinic

Vårdcentralen Söder is located in a somewhat spectacular building on Trädgårdsgatan 10 in the pleasant Söder area of Växjö. The city center is easily accessible via two pedestrian bridges over the railway, and it is just as easy to get here by train or bus. The health center has approximately 10,700 registered patients, and this includes the Child Health Center (BVC). We are responsible for two nursing homes in Växjö. The patient group is quite mixed, but the population is relatively young. We are approximately 32 permanent employees who share responsibility for the daily work at the health center. We are a very nice group with high competence. Our work environment is characterized by warmth, helpfulness, and humor. The unique building of Vårdcentralen Söder has a rather home-like environment, which is appreciated by patients, children, and parents, as well as by us who work here. The outdoor environment is also special, with its own garden where we enjoy spending lunch and coffee breaks.

Our physiotherapists have their clinics at Vida Arena. This is particularly good because the proximity and cooperation with Vida Arena's excellent gym are there, which benefits many of our patients.
