JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Supervisor with assistant nurse qualifications for the Functional Support Service, Day Activity, Höganäs Omsorg AB, 100%.
We are a dynamic and engaged operation working to support people with disabilities to live a meaningful and independent life.
Our day activity offers a secure and stimulating environment where participants can develop their skills and interests.
Role Description:
As a Supervisor within our functional support service, you will work closely with individuals with significant care needs and support them in their daily lives. Therefore, it is very important that you have a strong commitment and a desire to work with this specific target group. Your work will focus on creating a secure and stimulating environment that promotes their development and well-being.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise participants in day activities with a focus on pedagogical work methods, communication, and structured working approaches.
- Establish and develop individual implementation plans together with participants, taking into account their specific needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the operation and other professional groups to create a holistic view of the participants' needs and to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Contribute to creating a secure and stimulating environment that promotes the participants' development and well-being.
- Document and follow up on participants' development and progress.
- Support participants in their need for personal care.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have documented education in Functional Support (LSS) and care and assistance at least at the upper secondary school level.
- You have good knowledge of the Swedish language.
- You have a driver's license for a car.
- You have practical knowledge of documentation and implementation plans; we use LifeCare.
- You have good knowledge of pedagogical work methods, low-affective handling, and structured working approaches.
- You have had delegation responsibilities previously and can perform a new delegation test with a Nurse.
- You have knowledge of quality assurance and patient safety, including knowledge of how to report and handle deviations and incidents.
- You have good ability to work in a team and collaborate with other professional groups.
- You have good communication skills and the ability to create a secure and trusting relationship with the participants.
- You have knowledge of and experience working with people with medical and complex care needs and can apply this in daily work.
- You have care knowledge and experience working with individuals who have epilepsy, need tube feeding, need technical aids such as lifts, etc.
You have experience working with people with various diagnoses and disabilities, such as autism and autism-like conditions, intellectual disability, physical disability, and mental disability.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience working within Functional Support services.
- Knowledge and experience in performing tactile stimulation.
- Knowledge of sign language support and other communication aids.
